Title: Cranberry-Jalapeno Relish

2 Jalapeno chiles; fresh
12ozBag fresh cranberries; rinsed
1cSugar
1cOrange juice; or water
1/4cCilantro; chopped (optional)

Mince chilies. For mild heat, discard seeds; for medium heat, leave seeds in. Place chilies, cranberries, sugar and liquid in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Lower heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 to 15 minutes.

Remove from heat; cool to room temperature. Stir in cilantro. Serve warm or cool. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
